Our main involvement with the transport industry sector is producing high quality journey planning systems, which is often featured as an addition to a system designed for a seperate purpose (retail , tourism etc).

Most of our journey planning systems work by allowing a user to simply type in your current/desired location and the required time of a journey with options available on travel method – foot, bus, train, taxi. If a client requests RSL Mapping software then this step can be made even easier, with an interactive map that includes all bus stops and train stations marked on it. A user can simply click on a desired location, the system provides different colour lines indicating the different transport methods.

Our software has the ability to power a printer which allows routes and timetables to be printed.

RSL transport systems usually incorporate the relevant council website, accessed in an interactive friendly manner enabling users of the system to have access to current information on a variety of subjects; “what’s on”, local attractions etc.
