Large TFT Screens
RSL are one of the leading providers of large LCD TFT & Plasma screens, used to display any full colour graphics, DVD, live TV or computer output. The applications are endless with RSL typically utilising this technology for the display of real time electronic passenger information on accurate arrival/departure times, as well as tourist information.
As with all of our products and services we aim to provide an entire package, and this especially applies to our large screen displays. We offer software packages to power and populate the displays with information plus a massive range of options to customise and produce a system to suit your every requirement.
Communication options are available including hard wired coaxial, CAT5 TCP/IP, scart and all VGA formats. Also wireless radio communications can be used.
As with all of our units, the casing can be finished to any specified colour requirement and client specific graphics can be applied if desired.
We offer a range of different mounting structures to support your TFT LCD display systems; ranging from metal frameworks to fully sealed protected housings (perfect for exposed locations), wall brackets, roof brackets, architectural support structures and various others.
The limitations of TFT/LCD are in the ambient lighting, as the larger screens do not normally have outdoor daylight viewing capabilities. RSL will advise clients at the site survey as to how the ambient lighting will affect the display and which display type is best for the job. In outdoor locations it is usually necessary for high brightness sunlight viewable screens to be used to make sure the information is visible in all light conditions.
