Mapping software
RSL offer many mapping solutions within the interactive kiosk environment. Mapping can be integrated with our journey planning solutions along with our other management and applications software. A variety of functions are available; car parking spaces, ticket booking, printing or recommended attractions within the locality.
This map shows Dundee City Centre and was developed as part of a bespoke journey planning and information service for Dundee City Council with partners 'Steer Davis Gleave' and 'Travelinfo Systems'. The user is able to browse a planned route easily as different colours denote different methods of travel; for instance yellow indicates a walk where as red shows a journey by Bus.
The kiosk user is also able to zoom into particular bus stops and see real time bus departure information provided by ACIS.
